Privacy Policy
Digger 21 is a single-player arcade game. It has no accounts, no chat, no friends list and no user-generated content. This page explains the little data the game does handle and how to control it.
What the game collects
| Data | Why | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Gameplay events — level started, cleared or failed, score, coins and crystals earned or spent, ad views, purchases, settings choices | To balance difficulty and the in-game economy and to find bugs | PostHog (analytics), under a random anonymous device identifier generated by the game |
| Crash and error reports — error messages, stack traces, device model, operating system and game versions, the game log, recent gameplay events and diagnostic game state (such as the current level, difficulty and memory use) | To diagnose and fix crashes and script errors | Sentry and Firebase Crashlytics (crash and error reporting); PostHog also receives suspected-crash reports and fallback error events. Sentry and PostHog reports use the same randomly generated game identifier as analytics. Crashlytics links reports to its own installation identifier generated by Firebase, not to the game identifier. |
| Advertising ID and standard ad-request data (IP address, device type, approximate region) | To show ads and, if you allow it, to pick ads relevant to you | Google AdMob and its certified ad partners |
| Purchase records | To deliver what you bought and restore it on a new device | Google Play Billing; we never see your payment details |
We do not collect your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or any content from your device. The game works offline; only the items above ever leave the device, and only while it is online.
Your controls
- Personalized ads — Settings → Personalized Ads. Off means ads are chosen without your advertising ID or profile (non-personalized ads). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Analytics — Settings → Share anonymous gameplay stats. Off stops gameplay analytics and error reports sent to PostHog, and stops adding new gameplay events to Sentry reports. Sentry and Firebase Crashlytics crash reporting remains enabled; there is currently no in-game switch to disable it.
- Forced ads — the No Ads purchase removes every full-screen ad permanently. Rewarded ads remain optional and only play when you tap to watch one.
- Local data — uninstalling the game removes the local save file and game identifier. It does not delete analytics or crash reports already received; use the deletion request below and copy your identifier before uninstalling.
Ads
Digger 21 is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Optional rewarded ads give an extra life, doubled coins or a free supply. From the second planet an occasional full-screen ad can appear between levels, never more often than once every three minutes. In regions covered by GDPR or similar laws you will see a consent form from Google before any personalized ad is shown. Google's use of data is described in the Google partner sites policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases (coin and crystal packs, No Ads, Starter Pack, Survival Kit) are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. Purchased items are stored in your local save file and can be restored from Google Play on a new device via Settings → Restore Purchases. Virtual coins and crystals have no real-world value and are not refundable once spent.
Children
Digger 21 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game is rated for everyone; if you believe a child has provided personal data through the services above, contact us and we will help remove it.
Retention and security
Analytics and error data are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The anonymous identifier cannot be traced to a person by us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California and similar laws) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Because we hold no account data, requests are handled by device identifier: send us the device identifier shown at the bottom of the game's Settings screen and we will delete the matching analytics and crash records in PostHog and Sentry within 30 days. Crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics carry an identifier generated by Firebase rather than the game identifier, so we cannot match them to a request; Google keeps and deletes them under the Firebase terms linked below.

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes are also mentioned in the game's release notes.
